Im 19 and I have been smoke since I was 14. Im really into this one guy, but he hates that I smoke so Im trying to quit. Is it true that if you stop smoking that your lungs and body go back to normal?

For you if you stop you should be ok, but if you continue to smoke the damage will become irreversible. Although it also depends on how many cigarettes you smoke a day.

IF....and only IF your lungs have not been damaged by the smoking. Then, in time, they will eventually return to normal, as normal will be. Though, the disadvantage of this is it can effect you later on in life. I suggest you maintain a healthier lifestyle from here on. Hopefully, you will not be one of the victims who fall prey to the earlier mistake of smoking.

Yeah but it takes time. I mean I am in no way a doctor I have only heard this when I watched Oprah when she had a doctor on there but he said it takes like 7 years.

yes the lungs are a very forgiving organ. but it does take some time
