BLEU CHEESE BROCCOLI

2 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
3 oz. cream cheese
2 tbsp. Bleu cheese
1 c. milk
1/2 c. crushed Ritz Crackers

Thaw broccoli; drain. Melt butter in saucepan; stir in flour. Add milk slowly, stir until smooth and thickened. Add crumbled Bleu cheese. Stir until melted. Stir in broccoli, pour into greased casserole. Top with crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Pears (ordinary, not avocado) with a blue cheese stuffing or dressing - the pears need to be hard but not inedible, peel them just before you're ready to serve - as a starter - and place the blue cheese in the hollow you create when you remove the pips. You don't need a lot of blue cheese, but I find that even people who don't much care for it like this as a starter.

No,but I love big pieces of blue cheese in my salads.
