When you turn about 18 or so your "homies" will no longer be your first choice for anything. That is an adolescent thing so perhaps you should just set the dude down and explain to him why you two have nothing in common. When we "grow up" our teen friends drift away, get jailed, killed or stay high or drunk all day. The smart teen moves up and away. Move on.

Can your "home boy" read? No? Well, then, I guess a written note is not possible. You will have to tell your "homie" that you want to put on the brakes, and break up your relationship by telling him face to face. Tell him the truth, you are not ready for a relationship and you need to finish school.

Be honest with this homie and tell him that your afraid if you become a couple it may affect your friendship if anything happens and it doesn't work out. If your instincts are telling you he isn't the right fella then you'd be wise to follow these instincts. I'm certain he will understand and admire you for showing you have backbone and are not afraid to say what's on your mind. Good luck.

It's really hard to break up with someone and not hurt them...but I know when I was breaking up with my boyfriend I just sat him down and said that my feelings are not the same for you as youres are for me and I don't think it's fair that I am dragging you along when you could be out there finding someone who's that much more for you and that maybe I can help you find that special one, that way we can still hang out and have fun without going out!

Aaron you kind of cute

Anyway, how does one date constitute a relationship? Be honest, and real. Tell him I miss our friendship, yada yada its not the same etc

And a relationship with a friend does not always end up doomed. I had a one year relationship with my best friend, we never argued until that last month of our relationship. But we are still best friends, it was a hard transaction but we did it.

First, you may want to learn how to speak so he understands you. Second, there is no way to break up with someone and still be "homies" because someone is going to get hurt.

let him know that you had a better relationship when you were just friends and you still want to be close with him not in that way.

It will probably be pretty hard to do, given your limitations with the English language.

Just tell him how your feeling and what you want. If he is a real friend he might be hurt but will understand!
