Do not give your dog any type of medication unless you have checked with your vet.

Not without consulting your vet first!!! Some medications are transitional between humans and people (like Pepto Bismol), but only a vet could tell you the accurate dosage, or whether a medication could be fatal.

I do know that aspirins can kill a dog - don't know about Tylenol. You definitely need to check wtih an expert....

I researched this online. It is not safe to give a dog tylenol. A baby aspirin is alright. The amount depends on the dog's weight.

Don't ever give your dog, human medications, unless you are directed to do so by a veterinarian. You can kill a dog, if you give him the wrong medication or the wrong dose. It's not a chance, I would take with my dogs. If your dog has a problem that requires medication, then the veterinarian is your only option.

NO NO NO!
Never give your animal any human medication without direct instructions, with quantities, from your vet.

Many human medicines will kill an animal, and I've seen lots of well intended but completely wrong advice given in this forum about medicine for animals.

NO, it's not; could cause death or serious illness. You could give him a baby asprin, or bufferin (buffered) asprin, BUT, it's very important to administer these drugs based on weight, you should check with a vet regarding dosage. Most likely, it would be a safe bet to give him 1 baby asprin, unless he's a really tiny dog, like under 10 pounds. Be careful.

NEVER GIVE AN ANIMAL HUMAN MEDICATIONS!

take your dog to the vet to find out where the pain is coming from instead of just treating the pain.

No. Dogs are not human, they are canine. Medicine works different in dogs.
