i have a green card and im a permanent resident. i plan on joining the navy and getting my degree in nursing while serving, but i was wondering if i can become an officer once i get my citizenship.

Consider completing your nursing degree and going in as an officer from the start. In many cases you can get some help with school costs.

yes you can, provided you meet all the other requirements and are accepted.

You might want to take a look at the program whereby the Navy pays for your medical training in exchnage for a commitment as an Offcier, although to be be honest, I am not sure if you have to be a citzen first before you can apply. The good news is, regardless of how long you have been in, you can get your citizenship after being in the Navy for one year.

connect the military, with a level in hand and a freelance to grow to be an officer. save on with for seal duty. You go by ability of the same preparation and criteria of the different seal candidate.

Yes you can. I am a 20 year navy retiree and know of many officers who are naturalized. Go for it!

yes but not until you have your citeznship and then i think you ar limited to how far up the chain you can get promoted. good luck
