Microsoft newest Office 2007 which is supposed to be released to the public on January 30, 2007 is currently available for download on microsoft website as a 60 day trial period. After 60 days you will need to purchase the software in order to receive a product key code activation otherwise the software will be no longer active. Here is the link to download office 2007. You will need broadband internet DSL or Cable since the downloaded file will be huge.

You should be able to download a free trial at the Microsoft Office site, http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/products/HA101741481033.aspx The cost is about $400, but you should really have Word and Excel. You can do just about anything with them and you can't do much without them.
