It's the lack of humility that causes problems. Why can't everyone be responsible for their own actions and accept that they have done wrong? i don't understand your logic. If you're Christ-like and love Jesus, why would you start hurting people?

Is the belief in the Christian God causing bad behavior?
the belief of christianity is "love your neighbors as you love your self" means respect your neighbor nothing of a bad behavior , actually mans verywell behave with your neighbors- who is your neighbor? any one around you.
Jesus died for your felonies? Murder is a sin and a felony
Jesus die up to the Jew Law, where they have to kill the best lamb to GOD as an offering , giving God the best of you, was the best worshiping to GOD.
Killing is a sin in the same bible.
Christians didnt kill Jesus , he gave his life, such is different.
How in the hell is this belief making anything better?
Makes anything better when you apply it correctly, what? make better comunities, better understanding to each other, better marriagues, better friends, betterr people , etc
You're "nothing" without God? Are you crazy? You dont like yourselves do you?
God made us Unique, and he doesnt want us be alone, so God is with us all times, that doesn't make us less , just make us Happy children, Like a Father is all the time wachting the little steps of his baby, in a small picture or bigger picture.
The bible is a guide? You need a book to tell you that murder is wrong? You're a dangerous person
like anything new, or extranger to us, we humans needs some directions, when you get a car you get its manual, when you get a computer you get its manual, You may not use the manual if you know somethings, but you will used more successfully and more acurate if you read the entire manual.
Life can be extranger to us sometimes, isn't for you?
Everyone falls short of the grace of God?
Yes.look a child , who you never teach him how to lie, He will do it very well at some point, look a child how hits another child to get some toy? humm did you teach him that?.
Fall short by how much? Fall short to the point of killing innocent babies? Where's the limit?
Falls short as far you can go . Hitler went far, a killer psycho can go far too. your hands and your mind is the limit.
Only god can judge? So it's wrong to tell a person that raping kids is wrong? This is sick
hu? its not wrong to tell a person that raping its wrong, bible tell us that you must teach your children the ways of behaving, teach that raping is bad, teach adultery is bad, you should teach your children all things are bad and good ; this is a command from GOd to all parents to their children.
-This is not about judging.
You cannot put the entire justice in your hand cause you dont know hearts and people inside, But God knows better
You try to live like Christ? Some serial killers tried to live like Christ but they couldn't resist killing one more innocent person
? hu? who kill who?living like christ means, be respectfull to your parents as he was, have a good mission, aprove for God , he actually create us with a good mission, living like christ in a humble way, living like a christ with out luxury and not sinner eyes, we can have him as a example but I guess we will never be as perfect as he was on earth.
I dont understand? Of course I understand. YOU dont understand or can't accept how evil your belief actually is
what you dont understand? oh you do. hummm I got lost in this one.
What I dont understand? ask me if I do I will answer you.
Accept? my belief its awesome, why could be evil? tellme some facts.

You are perhaps one of the most close minded, ignorant, intolerant, manipulative atheists that I have ever met. Talk about warping and interpreting the bible for your own benefit!
I know many atheists that are intelligent, insightful and tolerant, but you sure aren't one of them.
Faith is meant to make you a peaceful, accepting person. It is meant to ultimately make you more forgiving. Being Christ-like is about being peaceful; to call violent lunatics Christ-like isn't just wrong, it is so brutally ridiculous. Even intelligent atheists know Christ wasn't violent. They may not believe he was the son of God, but they won't deny His unbelieveable conduct in the years He lived. It isn't that you don't share my opinion, it is just that you sound so foolish.
Wars aren't fought over faith. Wars are fought over land and people 'pretend' that they are being fought over faith. In essence, these individuals who claim to be spiritual aren't spiritual at all.
And it is man that kills, not God. The way you talk, I fear if you were in power you would line up every peaceful spiritual person to be shot unless we deny our faith. Do you think your anger is any better than that of extreme Christians.
How intelligent of you to clump Christians together into one group. How Big Brother of you to be so angry with our beliefs that you would likely wipe us out if you could!
Just because you aren't Chistian, doesn't mean you aren't a fanatic!

There are so many lies, half-truths, and misconceptions in that rant that I hardly know where to begin. You remind me of the little boy with his fingers stuck in his ears, chanting, "Nyah-nyah, I caaan't hear you" whenever someone says something that he doesn't agree with.
Why can't you admit the simple truth: you hate Christ, you hate Christianity, and you hate Christians. Nothing we say or do will ever be right as far as you're concerned because you're so close-minded that you can't even consider other possibilities.
If anyone here is evil, intolerant, and bigoted, you're skating dangerously close to that line. Stop accusing Christians of the behavior that you yourself are indulging in when you throw these little written tantrums.
Clean up your own act, Black Atheist, before you point a finger at anyone else's "hypocrisy."

Interesting. I was looking at that website, and I don't know if that's where you got all your information, or if you too have actually read the Bible. Don't get me wrong, I think its great that people with doubts (or downright disbelief) are asking questions and looking to the Bible themselves for answers.
Anyway, I'm not going to sit here and try to answer all of your questions, because first of all, I don't know all the answers. I have a personal relationship with God and try to learn more about him, but I sure don't know everything. And also, I don't really believe that you'll take my answers seriously anyway.
However, I do have one thing to say in response to something I saw on that website. It's under the God is Impossible section. It says "If something is perfect, nothing imperfect can come from it." At first that sounds pretty intelligent, and God did create us in his image, but he did not create miniature gods. God is the only perfect being. Humans are not like a clone of God. Yes, we are created after Him, but we are not Him. Again, I am impressed by whoever made this website for truly trying to back up their argument, because it goes on to attack the Christian defense of freewill. It says that Christians "say that a being must have freewill to be happy" and that God created humans, not to be robots, but to "enable them to experience love and happiness." Here is where I disagree. I think that God just wanted a being to experience love and happiness, he would have either stuck with the angels, or left us in heaven. We would have been constantly happy there. But God created us to worship him. Now, the angels also were created to worship God, but they are what you might call robots, because they do not have freewill. We were given freewill so that we may choose to worship God. Imagine if it were possible to force someone to love you. It wouldn't really mean anything. But when someone chooses to love you, it means everything. Now, you'll probably say that God is being selfish for creating humans to worship him, but again, I believe that God is perfect and he has every right to be selfish. He is God and he created the world and everything in it.
If you are truly interested in learning how some of the arguments against Christianity can be defended, I would suggest reading The Case for Christ by Lee Strobel or Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis. As you probably know, C.S. Lewis was an atheist who set out to prove that God did not exist, and ended up believe in Jesus. His book states that Jesus is either a liar, lunatic, or Lord. I would highly recommend reading it.

jesus died for our sins but it does not give us a license to freely sin or else we have not truly accepted jesus, you cant just accept him to forgive sin but also to be your lord which means master. if jesus is the lord of your life you will turn from your wicked ways.
God ordained systems of government in the bible to punish evildoers of this day, thats why we have courts and the police and laws.
God is the ultimate judge of sin and acceptance of Jesus to be forgiven of Sin and thus determining your destiny, every man has his choice God did his part we just need to do ours.

I think that belief in the christian God does cause bad behavior simply because it seems to promote a lack of self honesty. Also the incarceration statistics.

You carry alot of hate.
I beg of you, please, do not confuse Christianity with Christendom.
Christendom is a corrupted form of the original.
Foretold in Acts 20:29-30
"I know that after my going away oppressive wolves will enter in among YOU and will not treat the flock with tenderness, and from among YOU yourselves men will rise and speak twisted things to draw away the disciples after themselve. . ."
Original Christianity is decent, logical ....inviting.
