Over 30 single and happy but sometimes lonely : (

I am over 30, single and happy. I have a young son though, so I'm not totally alone. I do love it when he's gone to bed though and I can put my feet up, watch whatever I want on TV, or sit and read a book, or draw or listen to music or decide to empty all the drawers across the floor and sort them out. All without someone else poking their nose in or wanting to do something else or in some other way preventing me from getting on with something I want to do! Bliss.

I'm 17, single, and happy. This won't change by the time I'm 30.

I'm 34, and single.
I'm happier than when I was married, but to say that I'm a happy single would be to push it.
I have enjoyed my new freedom; But I'd be very happy to share my time, good and bad with a lovely guy. Well, not just A lovely guy, but one I'd be attracted to, love and from whom I'd get the same in return: love, respect, fidelity, etc....
But it's true that it's better be on your own than being with someone just for the sake of it.
