Like normal the popular kids always get dates.That's besides the point but i recently notice this new phenomenon of nerds in my school getting dates!!!.....and me and my friends who are just the average bunch of kids don't even get hit on by guys(okay maybe i'm exaggerating a little there)!!!!........

Because Nerds are not superficial, they look beyond the physical. The beautiful just attract superficial attention. The average are invisible. We have to work a little harder to be noticed, but it means we have more choices and better chances, and we are in control of meeting the right person. Its a good thing.

Be patient, time has a way of changing these things! I did not get asked out until I was 15 and then had two guys who asked me to marry them by the time I was 18. I did not marry either one and went to college first, then got married.

Here is something you need to know: Guys like girls -- all girls. If you want a date, all you have to do is tell one of the guys you like that you like him. Guys want a girlfriend as much as you want a boyfriend, maybe more. Realize that you have the power to get ANY guy in your school that you want. All you need is a good reputation, persistence, and patience. Don't hound or stalk anyone, but realize none of them are married and nothing is carved in stone. Good luck!

Because you think you're average. You need to get past that assumption. Make something of yourself, if the guys won't come inspire them to come! Make them "hungry!"
