Maybe because it has always been seen as inappropriate for a women to fart in public, while it is ok for a man to do it. I personally think that it is disgusting for people to intentionally subject others to the smell of their farts. Common courtesy would be to at least let loose in a place were there aren't many people. I recently had the "pleasure" of being in line behind a woman who let one rip and then she insisted on acting like it wasn't her. Yuck!

well maybe she farted while u was having sex,i think its nasty to fart in public, go to the bathroom,u arent getting a award for letting the biggest or smelliest fart.get beano,

It called manners. Plus when men are together without any woman around then all those manners your mom taught u fly right out the door.Which is normal.Just remember them when your around ladies.

becuz it is sick to fart, i sit next to this kid in math and he farts and likes to tell me what it smells like! that is the SICKEST thing i have ever heard of.....it is a guy thing, i guess, but it still grosses ppl out
