what can I do to let my hair grow extremely fast...what can I put to it...I do not like the idea of extensions...I want it to be natural hair and I want something healthy....what should I do?

I'm in the same situation as you are right now! I called my hair stylist (who I trust very much) and asked her what to do... she told me to take Biotin supplements every day. It won't make your hair grow REALLY fast, but it will certainly speed up the process. Also, take really good care of your hair so the ends won't break off. In the meantime, find a cute way of putting your hair up (if you can). For example, I put my hair up into a messy bun... that way, people can't even tell how long or short my hair is. Take a multivitamin everyday too, to give your hair the nutrients it needs (I recommend One A Day Women's). And, eat a lot of protein - meat, protein bars, even peanuts. Don't feel bad about wanting your hair to grow, though... I feel the EXACT same way as you!

Add prenatal vitamins or vitamins made specifically for hair, skin, and nails to your diet to help it grow faster. To prevent breakage and split ends avoid wearing metal clips, make sure you take off any necklaces you're wearing when you go to bed, only wash it when it gets oily, buy shampoo and conditioner from a salon (ask your stylist what they recommend for you), stay away from bleach and if you color it have it done in a salon, don't brush it when it's wet (use a wide-toothed comb instead) and if you have to blowdry or iron your hair use some sort of product in it that will protect it from the heat (ask your stylist about that too) and get it trimmed as necessary (depending on your hair type it can be abywhere from 6-20 weeks). Or if you're really desperate you can always get pregnant, it'll grow like a weed :p

You can't actually make it grow faster, but there are a lot of things you can do to stop breakage and split ends to keep from getting set-backs, and the growth will appear faster. The things you can do and the products you use depends on whether you're
Black or another race, because hair texture is so different. Go to different websites and find out what is best for your texture of hair.

Things you must ingest (eat) : Biotin, Vitamin E, extra protein (meat, eggs, tofu) Multivitamin formulated for "Hair and Nails", nuts and vegetable oils (olive oil)
Things you must do : Exercise a few times a week to increase blood flow to scalp, no more colouring, straightening, bleaching or blow drying, wash hair once a week, condition all the time, do a deep conditioning treatment once a week ...
