This is a joke question right? Well I'll bite.....
For those of you out there stating Jesus is God.
Um, Jesus is not God. God is God and Jesus is Jesus....or they would be if I believed in any of that bunk.
And I don't want to make you feel silly by stating the obvious but....psst you can't walk on water because water isn't a solid, at least not until it freezes.......and then it's called ice. I really don't believe Jesus ever did either. I think that perhaps he was just a good illusionist, like David Copperfield or David Blaine. Or just some crazy heretic that was really good at convincing people of stuff. I believe the man existed but, he was just a man with a talent for making people believe in his fantastic story.
Walk on water......rrriiiighht.

What strikes me is how people have worry believing Jesus walked on water, grew to grow to be water into wine, yet settle for that he's God interior the flesh and is able to speaking the cosmos into actual being with a note, and saving humanity jointly with his blood.

Many "religious" people reject the idea of evolution, which means people must be ee of essentially the same today as they were 2000 years ago, right? The world today is full of huxsters & frauds. So it probably was 2000 years ago.
The enduring outlcome of the Jesus Myth is that many Christians now "tithe", or hand a percentage of their earning over to the clergy. "Before Christ", it was only Jews that were obliged to do this...
If you want to learn how to make it appear that you are "walking on water", google it...

I agree with Zoe - Jesus's point was that we are all CAPABLE of doing the things he did if only we could get to his level of belief and spirituality...and that should be our goal...very difficult for us earthbound humans...and Jesus came to earth to experience the limitations of the human body in order to be one of us and to be able to draw us closer to heaven. The point isn't to walk on water, but to believe that you are capable of doing it, or will be one day. You have to think spiritually to get the message, set your sights higher than this world.

You actually COULD, if you had FAITH.
You used to like STORIES, so here is one for you now...
Back in the 19th century/ Horse and buggy days, ya know.
This girl and her dad lived far out in the wilderness, by a lake.
Now this girls dad loved her.
He got her a ball to play with, and she would play and play all day long sometimes with that ball.
Well Sometimes, it would go out onto the lake.
So the Girl would just WALK OUT AND GET IT, and bring it back to the shore and continue playing.
NOBODY EVER TOLD HER SHE "COULD'NT", so she just DID IT.
Now very rarily they had PASSERS BY who got off the beaten path, or had to do business with her dad.
So this one Gentleman and his boy come along one day, and the men go inside, and tell the children to stay outside and play while they are talking Business.
So the boy sees the ball and asks the girl if they can play.
Ofcourse she says,"yes".
So they are playing ball and you know it just happened to get kicked the wrong way, and went out, pretty far on the lake...
The girl says, "Don't worry, I will get it".
So she WALKS OUT to go get the ball that is floating on the lake, then she WALKS back to the SHORE.
The boy, who is from the city said, "YOU CAN'T DO THAT!",
the girl says, well ,"What do you mean, I just did it."
The boy replies, "It is IMPOSSIBLE to walk on WATER, You just CAN'T DO IT".
And so from that day on, SHE DOUBTED, in her ability to do it,...and she never walked on the water again.
That is the power of FAITH, or the power of NOT BELIEVING, or that one little tiny bit of DOUBT.
Have FAITH, as small as a mustard seed, and you can tell a mountain TO MOVE, and THROW itself into the SEA.
Faith can move mountains, but we would RATHER doubt and choose NOT TO BELIEVE...
God can do all things, we can do the same if we have FAITH.
Jesus said IF YOU BELIEVE, you will do greater things than I ...And we know that JESUS RAISED THE DEAD.
FAITH, I say You can walk on the water.
If you BELIEVE IT. and do not doubt.

The difference is that Jesus had one of those really cool and invisible hover boards that the vatican has been hiding in their vault.

I HOPE YOU READ MY ANSWER EVEN THOUGH IT STARTS WITH THAT AWFULL AND BORING "Jesus said...''
Jesus said we all can walk on the water, He said we all can be like him to his perfect HUMAN side, you just have to be like him. To believe in God with all of yourself. He said that if you reach that level of existance you can walk on the water. He said that you can be like Him, that's why He came on earth. To show us the way, the way we can/have to follow..

ALL and every one of Jesus` "miracles" can be duplicated, and explained in real terms. People WANT to believe it, magic is supernatural, and fits with their desire for proof of God.
