A couple of years back I had downloaded the first two chapters of a book that talked about a man who talked to god, and who had a dog that could talk. The revelation came to him while he was on the road. He stopped and then followed the voices to a lonely place. I have forgotten the name of the author and the book. Can someone give me a clue?

Dear ihatechristiansegyptiangoddess, no, in conversation with god is not the book I am talking about.

Dear Soulful Kris, I have searched but neither do I remember the title of the book I am talking about, nor the author.

Actually, he heard many voices, who revealed the higher levels to him. He then found that even his dog could talk to him. I had downloaded the first two chapters in pdf form, but did not take backup, so lost those chapters, also the name of the book.

Dear Ghettu,
I do appreciate your suggestion, but I will resport to an analogy to show you why I want to read the book: In a class all students read some standard text books. In spite of that one tops, the other fails. Srimad... may have all the details, but as to how much I would be able to assimmilate from it also depends on me. in spite of one outstanding teacher teaching a subject, there is still one topper and one failure.
And I find the other books interesting because they give unique perspective, like your reference books helps you in addition to your text books.
But ultimately it depends on how well I am prepared - genetically and currently - to interpret the messages.
