well I have a little female canary and I'm thinking on buying a zebra finch , I don't know if you can mix birds or put them in a same cage. If anybody know if is that is posible I would appreciate your advice..thanks!

You need to put them side by side in seperate cages for 7to 10 days so they can get aquainted without feeling territorial then try putting them in one cage. They may bicker but if they start pecking at each other I would keep them seperate. Good luck! I hope this helps! Claire

Adam sadly is wrong, as a zebra breeder I know for a fact, it's best to zebras in pairs or a whole flock, a canary is likely to attack and kill a zebra over time, hen canaries become nasty to other birds in mating season. Other finches maybe, like bengalese finches , but not canaries

I wouldn't. Unless you have a aviary cage. Zebras can be rather aggressive toward other birds. But you could try it. See what happens. If there is a issue, put the zebra and put it in its own cage.

Yea, i would try it and see if they get aggresive. if so move them back to the other cage.
