Before I moved my VCR worked fine, now after I moved it keeps eating my tapes. Could it have been broken during the moving process?

Absolutely. There are many mechanical moving parts inside VCR's and can be damaged when moving. It could be as simple as a belt having fallen off inside so it might be worthwhile to take apart if you're at least a little tech savvy and seeing if there's anything obvious amiss. Other than that, VCR's are so inexpensive these days with 4-head stereo units selling for under $50 that it isn't economical anymore to have them repaired.
