why do you knock someone that has won 6 races last year and had to fight his was into the chase? he's an awesome driver and i think the only reason you don't like him is cause of his talent, he had to work his way up to get where he is today, if you would look him up, you would see that, nothing was handed to him on a silver platter.

i don't want to start anything with anyone else, and i'm not saying this to suck up to jr fans but jr does have talent but it seems that everytime someone asks questions about kahne, you have at least 3 people knocking him, i asked a question about him before and i had at least 2 people knock him, i am a kahne fan myself, i think he's awesome and will be in the top 50 drivers of all time, and by the way sometimes an organization has to put money into something thats going to be a success.

no it wasn't just cause of last year's success, i followed him since 2004 in his rookie year and i'm sorry i didn't follow the busch series before that year or else i would of followed him since then

I agree. He's not cocky, he doesn't go take people out, he's just a quiet driver trying to get some respect, and some wins.

what kahne haters? i've never seen anyone on here bash him, because up to now, their haven't been any obnoxious kasey kahne fans on here to make people hate him. i see you're trying to change that. BTW, get your facts straight, he won 5 races last year, not 6. he had a pretty good year, yes, although not consistent enough to be a serious threat for the title. we'll see if he can follow that up with another chase year in 2007. if he can do that, then maybe you can come back here and talk your trash.

acually, i have to correct myself. he did win 6, what i meant was he had only won 5 heading into the chase. wow, this is one of the rare times when i am acually wrong about something.

Wow, he had 1 good year, stop the presses. He has 1 good year and you're sold on him instantly. He won 6 races and barely made it in the chase, that's why I'm questioning his talent. Remember when Ryan Newman won 8 races and now where is he? Derrick Cope won a couple races one year too, so did Kyle Petty. I'm not saying kahne is terrible, but let's wait and see what happens before you crown him as "the best."

Kahne isn't the only one.each and every of the drivers who had vehicles illegally changed could be sent living house besides as group cheifs. If this does not provide up the cheating sent the excellent group living house from proprietor on down.this could make the sponsor step in to the image and locate out what is going on.

Maybe it's because of his puppy-dog eyes! HAHAHA!
And at 5'8", 150 pounds.... hardly an imposing figure.

As for talent, he has some...BUT.....Evernham Motorsports has sunk MILLIONS into making the TEAM successful.

2006 Wins-6, Top 5-12, Top 10-19, Avg Finish-15.5
Career Wins-7, Top 5-30, Top 10-41, Avg Finish-18.0

2006 was his breakout year... he'll be around for awhile, but I seriously doubt we'll ever see him on the 50 Greatest Drivers list.
