in your age it is very dangerous to have much older friend! so it is ok to be with him.
but it is too early for both of you to have sex.
do what you have to do in your age . be friends & be nice together!
be carefull about your studies.

A one-year difference doesn't mean much. But as you grow older, you'll find that it's more of the emotional maturity that counts, and what stages of your lives you're both in. (Ask an adult, they'll let you know what this means).
Anyway, as many others have (or would have) said, it's normal to be dating people around your age group, but bear in mind, you're young and shouldn't take things too seriously with him.

I am in 7th grade also. My only advice is, be careful. He may want somethings before you do becasue he is older. I am not saying that he will want these "things" anytime soon, but sometime in the near future maybe. He may also mature before you and want things from you that your not ready for. Don't get get pulled in too quickley [if you know what i mean] If your not ready, follow what you head is telling you. Don't take anyone's opinion but your own.

When I was 13 in 7th grade, I had a crush on a 14 yr old 8th grader,
but i never had the guts to ask her out. So yur lucky

it's okay. I dated a guy in 8th when i was in 7th grade. Just don't do anything serious. now if you were 13 and he was 16....that's something different.

Totaly fine, but too young to be worrying about dating. Trust me enjoy being young. Getting older comes with so much responsiblity.
