Would you personally credit the notion T. rex was a pack hunter if new science hinted at that being fact?

Personally I would not. The t-rex was a powerful and quick predator. They did not need the help of numbers to catch what they needed. Also I think if they did hunt in packs, they would need to catch a whole herd of pray for everyone of them. If not, there would be a few stranglers without food and without the others to keep hunting. Therefore, more preventable fatalities.
