So please let me know, is the word "buddy" used by both sex to refer and talk to their friends or it is more oftenly used by the male ?
I mean do the female use it as well ?

anyone can use it, although I think men probably do more than women and it is just another word for friend.

Like, "Hey buddy" would be the same as "hey friend"

I agree with tdc923's answer above. Generally, "buddy" refers to males but I have heard a few people apply it to girls too. More often, though, they will refer to a girl's female friends as "pals," "chums," even "girlfriends" instead.
