We don't go to hell for the particular sins we commit, but for rejecting the gift of eternal life offered by our Creator. It's a personal relationship and you need to follow the Holy Spirit, not your heart. If you are a believer and the Holy Spirit dwells within you, then you have a comforter, a counselor and a savior who will never leave you or forsake you. Draw close to God and seek His guidance in every aspect of your life, and you will receive joy that circumstances can't destroy. We will always be tempted to choose our ways over His ways, but as we grow in faith and love we will more easily see His will for our lives and value that over legalistic nitpicking.

Tessa, it is not a sin to be bi or gay. Usually at some point, you will go one way or the other. But the sin is the practice of homosexuality, not being gay. I am not sure what religion you are, but I do know a couple that require baptism to get into heaven. Since you have been to bible study, you should know that there is only one unforgivable sin.
Live you life as you will. Continue to be a Christian as you are now. Get baptized, join your church. Live your life and be yourself. If you should choose a female partner, then you have expressed love for another human as she has for you. Nurture that love and let it grow.
Sins can be forgiven. Be happy Tessa.

Sweetheart, this is just my opinion, and i'm not gonna lie to you and say 'I know all the Bible law' or whatever, but this is what I think:

It doesn't matter that you're Bi.

If God knows you and loves you and understands you, then he's going to understand what you're feeling. He created you, right? Then he created you Bisexual, I really wouldn't worry about it.

Jesus said that the only way to heaven and God was through him. That means, to me at least, that if you truly believe that Jesus was the son of God and of Man, and that he died to save you from your sins, then God appreciates and respects that, and your sexuality, race, appearance etc arn't gonna make any difference to that!

There are churches out there that are made up primarily of a gay/ homosexual/ bisexual/ lesbian/ trangendered etc congregations, places like this:

http://www.queerchurch.org/index.html

Jesus loved everyone, so why would he care if someone was bisexual?

However, what you will find, is that most gay churches share the belief that sex and sexual acts should be kept for within marriage - so they support gay marriage, but they still don't think it's okay to just go round gettin' it on with members of the same sex or the opposite sex, they think that the love between two people, regardless of their gender, is best kept for within marriage.

Peace and love sistah,
x

If you are a Cristian you know that this is deviant behavior and a abomination to God and know this makes it even worse. Sex outside of Marriage between a man and women is a sin. Being bi-sexual means you will do anyone at least a homosexual or lesbian know what they want.

Let's get this straight first: Baptism does not save you!!! You are saved from sin when you accept Jesus as your Savior, and begin to follow HIS commandments. Saved from sin means that sin has no power over your life. Baptism unites believers with Jesus Christ in their death to sin and their ressurection to new life...(So, if you get baptised and you knowingly continue to sin on purpose, you didn't die to sin right, so baptism isn't helping you at all) Baptism symbolizes submission to Christ, a willingness to live God's way, and indentification with God's covenant people.

You could stop being a Christian (Christianity being the last refuge of the morally confused), or you could think about the fact that Jesus himself never said anything whatsoever about homosexuality, never married, and spent his adult life wandering around with 12 men. The Bible says that David and Jonathan loved one another "with a love that was better than the love for any woman" and praises the love of Naomi and Ruth. The Book of Revelations says that, come Judgment Day, only 120,000 MEN will be saved, and they will be the men who have never had sex with a woman. Or you could just go agnostic/atheist and leave all that religious nonsense behind.

Read any major Christian writer/apologist book on "BORN AGAIN'
and follow the directions and you will be redeemed.

After all the Holy Spirit of God will only make you follow God's only plan in creation (man and woman - husband and wife).

Sorry, heaven and hell don't exist. And who are these people to tell you who would and would not go if such a place existed ? If you think you're bi, accept that fact. No big deal. There's millions of bi people out there. Try the web sites below if you want the truth about the bible.

One sect of Christianity says you'll go to hell for this, another Christian sect says that you'll go hell for that ... isn't it strange that there are so many sects of Christianity and no one has the same outline of who goes to hell? It sounds like you're around Baptists a lot.

Honey, I don't think the Christian dogma has it right at all. The spirituality contained in Christianity can't be defined by a book or by one of Jesus' fan clubs. And it sure as heck can't be defined by your sexual orientation. If you know you're Christian and believe that Jesus died for you, then that's all you need. You're heart will tell you what to do, just follow it.

If you need to be apart of a church, I highly suggest your local Unitarian Universalist church.

It seems you could attend a church that would not condemn your sexuality but help you integrate it into your belief system. The denominations most likely to offer this kind of teaching are the Metropolitan Community Churches, the United Church of Christ, The Unitarian Universalist Church, and many Episcopal Churches.

It also sounds like you might benefit from some counseling with a professional who is willing to work with your belief system.
