Corruption started when man started having thoughts. There has been deception and pecking orders which cause people to do what they can to get ahead. To stop corruption, everyone must want to live in equality. If that happens then no one will want what someone else has, and we will be in 1984, and George Orwell's ideas would have come true.
Even in the worlds provided by those who think into the future, we see corruption. I am afraid it will never be over.

Sure there is a way to end corruption in our government but no one wants to hear it.
When you run for office you get two terms PERIOD.
When you run for office you and found guilty of major crime your gone.
Anytime that Congress wants a pay raise they have to put it to public vote.
When it comes to spending bills anything it that bill sends a project to their district they can't vote on it as that would be conflict.
When passing laws they have to take 2 off the books.
Anytime a Congressmen meets with a lobbyist that conversation must be tape and give full publication.
Voters have to be more proactive and hold their representative accountable.
For fund raisers each candiate must give a full accounting to the people they represent and must by special election approve those funds.
I think that should do it.
Above all else no lawyers can run. A lawyer making laws is like putting pryomantics in charge of a fire department.

Not really, but this would be a good start : Enact even stiffer penalties upon officials that break the law. Have very in depth background checks on every person filing for any public office. If people were better informed about candidates in their personal lives we could get better people for those positions. I would go so far as to say even have a public notice when someone files for office, so that people could raise questions publicly about a candidate and investigate any alleged wrongdoing before they officially run for an office.

Corruption, Prejudice and Racism can not and will not ever be changed, we've already become too accepting of the facts and too numb to do anything about it. These are the staples of world and human behavior. Those that tried; died trying and those that fear death for what they believe in give up on trying.

To test ones charicture you give him/her power. When one doesn't have the wisdom to use it properly then they must be removed for the saftey of the people.
When this isn't done the people become endangered by there leaders. The people also put themsevles at risk when they start voting themselves a living out of the National Treasurey.
When they start doing this they start to kill there own country. For America I fear it is only a matter of time.

I highly doubt that it will ever end. Stopping one corruption with most likely lead to praise and admiration, leading to greed and power, leading to more corruption, with would soon be brought down and the cycle begins again.

ANYONE can end 'corruption' simply by being elected to office.
Then.....when they do the exact same things because now they can get away with it.....it's no longer corruption (YAY !!), however it is now just called common practice.
Long live corruption.

Being involved, getting your friends involved and VOTING. The only way to end corruption is to make it unacceptable and visible.
And by holding people responsibile for their actions.
