I have a receding hairline and I was wondering what I could do have the hair grow back? Since I am still young I would like to eliminate this problem. Does anyone out there know of any perscriptions or medication that will make the hair grow back? Even though hair loss runs in my family I would think that with technology today there would be something out there to combat this condition? Please tell me your thoughts on this.

The best way to keep from loosing your hair is go work on an oil rig. The pure crude oil helps a man keep his hair. Sorry don't know all the science and math of it or even the chemistry. But it really does work. My father worked on the rigs in 1947, he never lost his hair, the color even stayed until he was well into his 80's.
Unless you go to a rig and get a quart of pure crude oil. Use a little dab and comb through your hair. Then I have no other suggestion. Ever seen a man working on a rig that was bald??No matter what his age.

Sounds like you have male pattern baldness (MPB). It is genetics, so there's not much you an do to stop it, but there's plenty you can do to slow it down. Sometimes, you can even hold it in check if you catch it early enough and continue with the treatment.

Try over-the-counter remedies, such as minoxidil. Then use hair products that nourishes the scalp, such as Nioxin or Hairobics.

Watch this video by NBC Dateline. It studied 5 treatments with 5 men over 1 year. The results are encouraging.

Rogaine....thats the name, its a liquid you rub on your bald spot once a day...it really works! Only thing is....you have to do it for the rest of your live...should you ever stop, the new hair you have grown fails out....
