That is so retarded. You are wrong. You really need to stop trying to prove to yourself that God isn't real. He is real, He does exist. Please read the Bible. It will tell you everything from the beginning to the end. The end isn't here yet but is to come. And you should know what is to come before you leave this earth. Then you can decide if you don't except it. Read Revelations. It is what is to come. Some of it is hard to understand but just read it and God will help you to understand what is important for you to get out of it. I've read it a few times. I feel sorry for those who deny what is to come. It is not a pretty ending for this earth. We are in a spiritual war of good and evil. And the evil is freakishly strong and convincing and brutal and unthinkable. Nothing that has happened here on earth to this day is as horrible as to what is coming. Read it. The last book in the bible. You can go on line and read it, you don't even have to buy one. It is a great story. It would make a great movie. But the horror for those who don't believe in the Lord, the only God, it is a real movie that hasn't happen yet. Satan is hard at work every second to discourage you and he will do what ever it takes to turn you away from God. You will see. Really!! I aint playin!!

The major difference is that these other "gods" weren't witnessed by over 500 people after they allegedly arose from the dead. Christ was seen by many people after His death and resurrection.
1 Corinthians 15:6 "After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep."
And if that wasn't the case, do you seriously think that the same disciples who hid out after His death would have suddenly found the boldness to go out and preach, risk death, and ultimately be martyred? They wouldn't have died for a lie, just to save face.
Just because something is a copy, that doesn't mean that the real deal doesn't exist. And I can think of several reasons why a power opposed to God might want to create religions that aped the coming Truth in the Person of Jesus Christ.
You and this argument are one of those reasons.

Just because some things share a similiarity doesnt mean they are all true or all false. God has revealed Jesus as the Son of God and this is the truth! Many of those old religions also were pantheistic whereas Christianity is MONOtheistic. It may be interesting to note that those religions didnt spread much or last very long whereas Christianity has spread globally and lasted 2000 years strong. Jesus is the truth!

And you know that they were all "fake" how exactly? You'll excuse me for not taking your "expert" opinion on the matter! I happen to believe that all of these various versions could be offshoots of the same story or concept, and not necessarily false at all.

yes, there were many, many gods before Jesus.
there are many, many gods today.
but, Jesus Christ is not a god.
Jesus is God, the only true Living God.
the rest were and are mythical or false gods; creations of the human mind.

those may have been prophetic, man. Or they may have been true, or they may have been stories, or it may have been kaka. Sometimes you have to dig through kaka to get to the truth. Sometimes the kaka will act like "the boy who cried wolf". no one will believe it when it really happens.

I read that somewhere that other Gods lived and dies before Christ.. but the Holy Bible has been proven,, has the other gods bible been proven to be accurate? none that I ever heard of has been proven,, and what if these other religions are wrong? eternity in hell is NOT a pretty picture
