IRT all that said "get 32 bit cuz 64 bit apps aren't compatible" that is incorrect. 64-bit processing is completely backwards-compatible with 32-bit apps. Although, applications specifically designed to run on 64-bit machines will perform better, but only in conjunction with a 64-bit OS.

I have XP Pro x64 and an Athlon 64 X2 5000+. No problems.

Remember, just because something has a larger number it not mean it better. Always research software and hardward to know what it compatiable with. XP 64 is great when it's day comes, but, for now XP 32 is in it's day and this what most software and hardware cater to. One thing good about Microbutt, they use the consumer to develop their software. You will see this with Vista. Now as Vista becomes avaliable people that want to be first in line will run out to buy. Watch here on Answers for the problems they be trying to fix in about a week. Microbutt will use their Headache to fix the bugs and then "Hopefully" in about 6 months there will be a SP1 to fix all the known problems, just like we seen with XP. SP2 will follow in time and Vista be a good OS. Heck, many hardware and software companies not have their Vista upgrades ready, many people going to load Vista on an exsisting system only to find there not a Driver they need for something to work. New systems will work, but, be aware of additional software & hardware unless it say it support Vista.
But, XP 64 bit was a play on a push for hardware and software companies to switch to a 64 bit platform and it not work for the Microbutt. True some large corporations use it as they usually buy special programs, or have a programer and of course they buy Microbutt Software that has 64 bit support.
