You need to calculate your "Body Mass Index" to determine if your weight, height and age are in line.
Go to http://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/dnpa/bmi/index.htm and look at the BMI calculator.
The 1 inch is when you are standing.
It is good that you are concerned about your weight as obesity has become a national health crises in the United States, especially in female Afro-Americans.

Maybe you shouldn't worry about it! Fat to who? Like yourself the way you are and only worry about a couple of inches if those couple of inches are a health problem. All woman and men have FAT..... It's to help us in times of starvation!!!! Or to have babies.... embrace those love handles!!!!!

sometimes if you run and you look down and you see stuff like bouncing up and down then you probanly have some fat down there but if you cant answer the question yourself than you are probably not fat!
