The word "Sin" is an old archery term. It means "missing the mark". If there is something in your life that doesn't measure up with the kind of person you want to be, change it! That's all sin is. It's your stuff. It's not for anyone else to tell you what is a sin and what is not a sin. You decide. How do YOU feel about the things in you life. It's all up to you. You are the "judge" not God.

...The truth sometimes hurts, but the lost need to know they are lost in sin, without hope, and need Jesus Christ to save them - the Bible makes this very clear; it is not a sin to tell folks they are sinners, if done in love and concern for others.

we all have sinned and fall short of the glory of god. any one who says that he has never sinned, lies through his teeth. Since all have sinned, and some one calls some one else a sinner, tells the truth, because it is factual. he and every one else is in fact are sinfull. And since the statement is truth ...take it from there

To recognize a sin as such is not, but to say, "you're going to hell" or to have any judgement towards the persn for it is a very big sin.

It's a fine...hate the sin but love the sinner.

no that doesn't make that person a sinner. that's like if a person called another person a killer that doesn't make that person who called that person a killer a killer he just said it. but we are all sinners. just because some of us never murdered or robbed a bank before doesn't mean we aren't so to me that person would seem more of a hypocrite.

Mathew 7

1"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
3"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.

Depends. If they are outside of the church, we are told not to judge. If they are in the church we are to make them aware of their sin.
