Are you asking if Jesus' mother must be a goddess? The scriptures make it clear that she is not. Catholics believe that Mary was born without sin, but that's tradition, not scripture. Most denominations believe that she had to be redeemed just like everybody else, that Jesus is her savior too. And even Catholics don't think of her as a goddess. If you want to think of the natural particulars, I just think of God as having no problem keeping His Son pure in the womb. Is sin in the DNA? I don't think so. So no, we don't believe in a goddess and if God can create the universe out of nothing, why would having a Son by a human mother be difficult for Him? It wasn't. Peace.

Not being rude, let's get that out there first, but have you read the bible? In Matthew, it tells of Jesus' Holy Conception. Mary's child (Jesus) was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and she knew at that moment (from an angel) that it would be a boy. No where in the bible (that i know of) does it say anything about a goddess, just one God who is male. "God and woman made Jesus, man had nothing to do with it"-Sojourner Truth This is true, but Mary was not to be worshipped...just God and our Savior Jesus. Recognized, Blessed, but not worshipped.

Being born is a human process, and not a process of God. We do not know if Jesus was created or he has always been perhaps as God the Father has. What we do know is there is no such thing as a godess because that is ascribing gender to a god who by definition has no gender.

The reason this came about is the early Christians wanted to wipe the matriarchal cultures out and replace them with a patriarchal, as they felt threatened by the goddess worship.
Plus the fact that St Paul is reputed to hate women didn't help females out either.
Everything in nature is dual. For people to take the female out of the equation and never question it is beyond retarded.

No. A major theme of Christianity is the demonization of women.
However, Catholics couldn't quite get rid of Her. That's why they pray so much to Mary. In my local Catholic church, there are more statues of the Goddess Mary than there are of Jesus and the other saints combined.

We, Christians believe in the 'Trinity'!..Father..Son..Holy Spirit..All one being, Many people have difficulty with this, saying "One God?..But you just said three!"..What we have to try to understand is that God is the ultimate creator!..God is infinite, time space and distance mean nothing to Gods infinite 'being'..God is everywhere and everything all at the same time, and in the same place!..The ultimate intelligence!..God sent a part of himself, as a man, to this planet {and possibly others] To save us from ourselves!..This man we know as Jesus, we also know he is that part of God called 'The Son', He fulfils every biblical prophesy!..The evidence for this is, i believe overwhelming!..Then he gave the Holy spirit, another promised part of God, as a 'gift' an empowering gift to us!..If we accept the ultimate truth of Jesus, this 'gift' is free, and you have to experience its power to believe it!..You see..God is one being, One infinite total being!..But this being, can be three at once, and still be one!..Exactly the same way as you can be in one place, yet project your mind to be in another place at the same time!.But!.While you can create nothing from this in physical reality..God can, and does create the physical and spiritual from himself into universal reality!..So God can be Father, Son, and Holy Spirit all at once, and still be one God!..I hope that explains it better to you and helps you to understand the awesome wonder of God!..
