If you have Windows XP, you can open you picture file, even if it's on your camera. You should have an option to "copy all files to CD" on the left of your screen. Select that and follow the steps. If you have another CD writing program on your computer, you can usually drag and drop selected pics to write to CD.
I keep all my pics on CD-RW in folders with a name that includes a date, like "Christmas 122506". That way I don't overwrite pics with the same name and I don't use another CD everytime I want to transfer pics to CD. Help files are pretty understandable with most programs, so pull up the "help" and follow it step by step.

There are several ways to accomplish this, provided you have a CD burner.
If you are using Windows XP you can drag and drop the pictures you want o copy on to the CD drive (the CD writer drive).
I you have any of the CD burning software (Nero, software which came with your CD burner), it could also help you copy the pictures or any files for that matter.

You have to have a dvd burner for one. It comes with a software mine is Nero and you burn your image to cd. Put all your stuff in one directory or several directories and then open eg Nero and it will ask you to pick what you want burned to cd and then hit burn. Not too difficult. Take care Heather

you burn them using whatever software your computer has. Assuming they are digital and on your computer. If not, scan them, then burn the digital images.
