I notice it has been hampered in much of the world today in liberal ocupied Europe for example-with treats of prison or more.what do you think.-even here.

I think too many liberals are intolerant of anyone who disagrees with them. They are so convinced they are right that they will accuse those who disagree of being stupid, ignorant, or crazy. Many in the middle have reported, and it is my experience, also, that conservatives will engage you in meaningful debate, but that liberals will eventually turn to name-calling. At the same time, they say they value "diversity." Go figure!

hahaha, i ask your self in the experience that your first respondent even took the time to snort on the link. It became rather relaxing. i'm genuinely no longer adverse to free speech. I do have issues that I stand firmly adverse to regardless of the actuality that. i found this fairly relaxing because my husband and that i have been only discussing our political adjustments with our youthful teen daughter. i'm liberal he's very conservative. I, like maximum individuals, do not go with to be lumped consisting of a collection and performance people assume that each and anyone the individuals in that team sense the same about any given topic. I do imagine for myself and under no circumstances continually alongside party strains. i assume it is area of my wishy-washy nature...nonetheless guffawing!

What Free Speech? We have Free speech again!!! How did the ACLU let that happen? Does that now mean I can say Merry Christmas without fear of offending someone? Can we put "under God" back in the pledge of allegiance? can we again call an "undocumented worker" an illegal alien? Can we once again voice our opinion without the liberal elite labeling us racist?
The liberal elite does not condone free speech unless you use their book of politically correct terminology

If anyone favors free speech it would be Liberals. The term Liberal indicates a willingness to listen and participate Conservative does not.
Some Liberals and Some Conservatives favor more discussion on issues some do not. Mostly it has to do with attitude. If one is smug with an attitude of my way or the highway they do not want free speech. I think they are afraid that free speech will expose their idiotic viewpoints.

The only free speech that liberals,from any nation support is the ECHO of their own rhetoric and self serving propaganda..The threat of prison has never silenced the freedom,it has only made it a little more cautious.But it is still alive and well in America.And I for one will fight the continued battle for our RIGHT to express our own thoughts and views,in public as well as in private.No one should ever live in FEAR of its own government...EVER

Yeah, like the student protests of the INVITED Minuteman speaker at Columbia which 'shut down' speech as even the Constitutional Law Scholar who is head of the University had to admit. It is one thing to comment on it or picket it, it is another to stop the speaker from being heard - his own right of free speech. I have heard that in the UK you can't even say coffee is black -not sure if that is a law or a PC imposition - but it's nuts.
