non-believers seem to condescend that they are an oppressed minority. but i seem to be the only Christian here

i just think that it fuels my argument that all i get are fascicious and derisive answers.

It's a big world .there are many christians but not many people who truelly follow christ.so technically, that is totally a minority.

Cheer up hun. If you're a Christian you should know that you are loved! One example for your question I can think of is the Wiccan soldier, Patrick Stewart who was killed in combat and the US department of Veterans Affairs wouldn't put a Pentacle on his memorial marker when everyone else got their religious symbol. There were 38 symbols to choose from, and HALF of those were Christian crosses. Doesn't that tell you something right off the bat? And they refused to allow his religious symbol because he is Wiccan. That is oppression, my friend. After a long fight, he finally got his Pentacle, but there shouldn't have even been a fight in the first place, since this is America and we are supposed to have religious freedom.

There are lots of Christians here, of all flavors. From tolerant liberals to bible-banging dictators. It comes down to what you define as "Christian". There have been at least two or three posters here who have insisted that only THEY are "TRUE Christians" and that everyone else are "lukewarm" or outright "false" Christians.

Actually, according to most of the Christians here, there are very few "true Christians" here, or indeed anywhere.

Funny thing is, they never manage to define what constitutes a "true Christian." That's why all the different Christians -- from JC himself all the way over to Fred Phelps -- have to keep sharing the same label. Sad, isn't it?

Nope we christians come and go. I am here. Oh yes we horrible christians "oppress"...weren't you aware? LOL. Even though they try to remove "Under God" from the pledge and "In God we Trust" from our coins and take prayer out of schools. They would allow a girl of any age to get an abortion for any reason and no matter how far along she is in her pregnancy, without her parents permission or even knowledge. They would put a quintrillion gay characters on otherwise wonderful TV shows even though only 2% to 4% are homosexual. They would shove the gay agenda down our throats and if we protest they call us haters. It's a ploy. They need to be minorities to promote what they believe. Otherwise they would have to look at it as it really is...a Godless society trying to erase or suppress the last remaining shreds of God from their life. I think that they think if they get God out of their life and society now...that they won't have to face Him in the end. Ok I'm off my soapbox now. God bless.
