It is not expensive at all. I used to work in a Jewelry store and my Father-In-Law is a custom Jeweler......maybe $20 to size it. If It has to be sized bigger then it costs cause they are adding gold and just depends on how much gold they have to add...if it is sized smaller it is just a standard price. Engraving shouldn't be much either......maybe $30 or less cause you can't engrave much on a ring anyway......on my husbands wedding band I engraved his first name and middle initial and our wedding date...alot of places will do the first sizing for free if you bought the ring from them. To engrave in a wedding band no more than $50.00. To resize, it should not cost anything if you are getting it done when you originally bought the ring.

the jewelry store i use charges $28 to resize the ring the same day you bring it in, its a little cheaper to leave it at the store for a week or so for them to do it. they also charge $15 for 4 letters (or numbers) to be engraved. i would suspect most reputable places would do it for about the same.

to resize it ...it was just 20 bucks i dont know about the engrave thing but id like to knwo!
