Liberals have a higher opinion of the terrorists than they do our own citizenry.
The idea is that we should lose any war we go into, because much like a child who touches the hot stove, deep down inside they are hoping that experiencing pain will remind us in the future not to go to war.
Liberals think the gov't can do anything it wants, this is where the power in the liberal ideology is derived from. They just do not want us to win, this might cause more wars.
And war makes liberals sad, because people die at war and death is bad.
When life is that simple I guess that answers seem easy.
To bad we live in the real world, it would be nice if the govt could fix everything and there was not more need for war. It is too bad their policies encourage our enemies to see us as week thus making us more of a target for future attacks

Call me what you want after reading my positions on your statement.
If all armed citizens in the US rose up against our military, the military wouldn't stand a chance. For one, they would not be able to use scorched earth tactics on our own soil. For two, many of the volunteer military soldiers would put down their arms before shooting their own brothers.
Your second statement is true, to an extent. We are not willing to make the sacrifices that would be required to defeat the armed civilians in Iraq. We would need 100K plus more soldiers to really do the job, and they would need to stay for a year or more. The president is only proposing 20K, and most military officers themselves give that a slim chance of success.
The American public no longer supports the huge military undertaking that would be required to secure Iraq. If it was done correctly to begin with, we would have had many many more troops, far fewer casualties, and most of our troops would be home by now. Unfortunately, it looks like it is too late.

you have some fake innovations it is unfold around the cyber web. only a handful of IRS brokers are being employed, approximately 1000, to technique the tax credit via fact they dont think of many people will waste their funds on no longer finding out to purchase coverage. If people paid their ER costs and didnt report financial ruin mandatory coverage does no longer be mandatory. however the government has to conceal lots of the loss and the hospitals lose funds so as that they improve their expenditures. Congress mermbers dont examine any of their costs. they does no longer understand the legalese yet they be attentive to the provisions. This one grew to become into complicated at 2000 pages and written by skill of legal experts, economists, financial planners, coverage and well-being experts. this methodology isn't administered by skill of the Treasury Dept however the dep. of HHS. Social protection isn't bankrupt yet Obama's plan isn't government involvement different than investment via fact scientific coverage is striclty a state potential.

typical liberal stupidity and hypocrisy. Answer is both.
My belief is that both parties could use a good shake-up like the GOP got in the last elections, but given the options only a libertarian would be capable of any change. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. The crazy dems now control the media and that is the first step in any war is to control the distribution of information. The other sides had better come together and shake up the fruits and nuts soon or we will no longer be a republic and we will shift to MOB RULE (ie. democracy). This is by definition an unstable form of government because it inevitably leads to socialism and you will no longer be free to work for yourself, but rather for the government.
Fair Tax now!, Vote out your incumbent!
I am fascinated to see the level of idiocy in some of the answers below this one and the next few down. People apparently have no knowledge of what the constitution says and even worse knowledge of recent history. I rather find it scary that people want another 4 years of either the republicans or the democrats as they seem only in doing what's right if it gets them votes and re-election. Your government thinks that you are too stupid to notice this and reading some of these answers confirms what they are thinking about you.

Hey buddy, stop with the stupid generalizing. Oh and who is saying Americans civilians can't defeat our own military? How about a list of names? Sources? And exactly what pair of rose colored glasses are you wearing when it comes to Iraq?

How about republican denial!
You are talking apples and ipods. Go into detail of how you expect that an invading army that doesn't speak the language or know the society compares to a civil war between a domestic population and the government's military, which consists of its citizens?
The only thing that your scenarios have in common is violence.
You might want to be checked for brain damage!

They Democrats, need to watch it because they are cutting their own throats....A Democrat "Clinton" knew Bin Ladin posed such a threat to our nation yet blames others for the lack of involvement with capturing or actually getting the threat out of the way....Which led to the WTC attack on 9/11.
Bush on the other hand took a firm stand he hasn't back off on his decision that terrorism no matter where it is should be...Should be STOPPED!
Liberals see it as a hand slapping time....
Give the Democrats a lil time and we'll be fighting here...
