Rumsfeld said it best - Christianity is a religion where God sent his son to die for others, and Islam is a religion where it sends its own sons to die for itself.
I spent five years studying the Koran and Bible. One portrays love and a God who promises peace and life-everlasting. One has over 100 instructions for Jihad and killing and chronicles the life of Muhammad who killed many, many people.
As a Christian, I would not die for my religion. I would die for Jesus Christ, in faith, if that were necessary.

I am a Christian and I would die (from earth) for my Lord because I will never deny Him. I will also fight to the death for Him.
I honestly don't know what to answer for the Muslim President question. Who knows what people will do. They want their freedom here to walk and talk in the streets but then they talk crap about fighting in wars that are protecting the same freedom they cherish so much. So who can guess. I know I don't want to walk around with my face and hair covered and have no rights, and be forced to serve a religion that I would not do so I would be tortured and killed. Because the Muslims I hear of, are intent on you serving their religion. If they ever get voted in they would take over like SADDAM. It could very well happen, though. You've heard of the anti-Christ that is to come?

We've never had a female president, a black president, a Jewish president or an Asian president. Until that happens, I'm ruling out the possibility of a Muslim president.
I don't know if Bush really said that. But that man will say almost anything. Christians have made other people die for their religion many times in the past (the Inquisition, the Crusades).
Blessed Be.

Radical Muslims believe that because they are radical, not because they are Muslims. Taking a life in Islam is only permissible in two occasions, the first being in self defence when an armed man is comming at you (unarmed, women, elderly and children are not to be harmed period), and in justice (ie capitol punishment for murder).
In my opinion, a Muslim president is not likely to happen within the next 100+ years because Americans in general are afraid of what they don't know. Americans aren't very familiar with Islam, even after 9-11 and the majority of information they have came from invalid sources wishing to keep America's view of Islam at a low level. I think we'll have a woman and an African American president long before we have a Muslim president.
And I agree 100% with John's answer above.

Faith is the only tool to know what you believe is true. Religion only matters to those people who live in a box, It's a big world out here, try some new things. Let Bush remains the president and convert him to muslim... see what happens.

Ur question shows how much ur knowledge lacks.
Muslims can't kill anyone to be Muslim, QUR'AN orders us even to respect all other people including Jews and Christians, that we have no right to harm them.
The models u c on TV aren't Muslims at all even if pretending to be, and i can prove it.As i told u, Qur'an says clearly that we can't force anybody to enter Islam, moreover, Qur'an says that if we killed someone, its like we killed all humanity, that hell awaits these terrorists.
I hope u read this till the end, and i hope u stop talking about us this way (I respect other religions and i said that many times while u r not, so who is the bad one????))))

Absolutely TRUE! lol funny too! Can I use that?
Just because one is a Muslim does not mean they believe the Al-Queda militant brand of Islam, but many do. I believe we could have one as president because this place is turning multi-cultural like Canada. Soon there will be nothing distinctive about the US, just another multi-cultural taxing liberal progressive PC unproductive unspiritual ses-pool.

I wonder if anyone will live for their religion. Dying for a cause is vastly overrated, I think. One glorious moment of self-perceived heroism, and one is free from all the tedious business of loving one's fellow man, and all the really difficult business that religion calls for.
Living for one's religion is another matter. It requires acting out one's faith through the tedious, arid, boring days, one after another. Living for one's religion asks us to behave toward each other as though we were all children of a loving God, and worthy of respect and love, whatever has happened to us.
If we are late for work and traffic is delaying us, we must still act as if we believe.
That's the hard part.

The democrats would. Barrack Obama has a muslim heritage. Albeit he professes to be a christian now...I think even if he were a muslim, the democrats would promote him. I just wonder how muslims would handle an American president if he were muslim.
I think we will see a rash of American muslims "newly converted" to christianity and wanting to be in office. Mark it well and watch!
