as soon as a child reaches 2 years old they are classed as a child not an infant. An infant is under 2 years old.
As soon as a child reaches 12 years old they are considered an adult.

Most airlines let an infant (under two years of age) fly for free if that child is going to sit on your lap (ie the child does not get its own seat), or there may be a nominal fee.
Child fares are usually about half the price of an adult fare, and the child gets a seat. Adult fares usually start from age 12.
Tax and airport fees must be paid for all passengers including infants on the lap. Bear in mind that infants tend not to be allowed a baggage allowance, and therefore the adult must pack the infants clothes and their own within the weight allowance allowed for one adult.

Of course, to find out the specific requirements of zoom airlines, I would suggest you check their website for details.

I hope this helps.

Infants are only up to the age of two on airlines. After that they pay child prices if you are lucky, until they are 11. Then adult fares. But bear in mind that no frills airlines charge the same fares for all, only the tax is less for infants.

some airlines do nonetheless furnish extra inexpensive rates for a toddler, call the airline directly to confirm, they dont frequently furnish the fares on the internet internet site. do no longer FOR ANY reason lie and say your toddler is under 2 and you like them as a lap toddler. brokers can and could ask for a replica of a beginning certificates if the youngster is obviously over 24 months and flight attendants will do away with you from a flight. we've FAA policies to stick to. surely you're paying for area on a airplane, no depend how vast the butt is. it might desire to no longer look honest, yet we dont have distinctive rates for somebody who's one hundred lb and somewhat takes up a nil.5 a seat and somebody who's 200lb and takes up the entire seat. yet, the guy who gets it worse than a mom and toddler is the guy who's obese and takes up 2 seats. we could continually cost for a 2d seat in some circumstances. That one is a lot extra durable to look after than a mom and a toddler.
