I had the 2 females finches first & they get along fine, i introduced the new female and male which were paired up, and i started seeing aggression from all the females..excessive chasing, pecking at eachothers beaks, the male is fine. will they ever all get along? i have just moved the male and female into their own cage and everyone is back to normal, but i want to see them all in the same cage if poss. if i do reintroduce how long she i keep them separated and how long to i give them to get along ?

The larger the cage, the better luck you will have keeping them together. And supply a finch nest basket for each female, along with one extra finch basket.

the aggerssion amy be caused by if they all had to share the same nest the females dont want to because its there house so try to buy a neither nest a new cage thats possible bigger to so they its noone terriorty and thats what we had to do with are macaws when we brought home two more home hope this helps

Birds don't seem to get along together well but if you get a big enough cage they won't get lonely and they won't fight too much.

keep trying them every so often togeter. but if they do get aggresive chanses are they will never get along
