beetle in general, but preferably ones from 1999 and up.

yes i have one. a 2003 GLX (TURBO) 5 speed. if you don't know the trims, the GLX is the top of the line. without going into the 6 speed sport trim. it has all the bells and whistles. gets about 23 miles per gallon. i have had it for 3 years and love it. drives like a little sports car. it's slightly wider wheelbase is great for winding roads. and it easily cruises at 90!!!! mine is also equipped with the ESP ( electronic stabilizing program) in 03 that was an extra, but i think the newer models come with it now. and you would be amazed at what you can fit in there. put the seats down, and wow, you can fill it with some pretty large stuff. i got my windows tinted and the little air deflector for the moon roof. also i found since i drive alone a lot i take the back seat headrests off for better visibility out the back window. i do carry them in the car just in case i need them. i don't think you would be disappointed.

I had a 2001 Beetle, I absolutely loved it! never had a problem with it!! I now have a 2007 Beetle Convertible! It's AMAZING!! I couldn't be happier with any other car!! I just recently bought it, about a month ago, and i haven't been able to ride with the top down because its been cold, but I cannot wait til summer!! I love my car!! I wouldn't take any other car, even if it were given to me! I love my bug!!

I've always had good luck with Volkswagen's,the convertible Beetle is great !!

my first car was a beetle, very rugged and dependable, not great on power but thats not why you drive one.
