For a 7' pool table you will need a room that is at least 17' x 13 1/2 ' . This gives you 5 feet of room all the way around the table. That is the minimum amount of room needed to shoot any shot with a standard size 58'' pool cue. Of course a larger room would provide more comfort , but 17' x 13 1/2' is the minimum.

The smallest room should be approximately 11 foot by 8 foot. Remember, you should have enough room all around to take a shot from the very edge of the table.

Well, it depends on the pool table size. If I were you, I'd add 3 feet to the perimeter so you can play on it

i would say it needs to be able to be atleast 2 feet from walls on all sides. but it would be better to have 4 feet or more open space on each side.

at least 20x 20 so you can have enough room to move around and not be so crowded
