I think you will win far more souls by your example than by your tracts and preaching. People believe what they see, not what they are told.

Well, in my opinion.....Some people are not put here to preach. If you aren't good at it you risk turning people away. There is a purpose and a place for every one here. We are to let our light shine and people will be drawn to it. When they ask how can you be so calm, or so happy, or etc. then we can tell them where it comes from and they will want it too. Some may never accept it and that is the way it is and some take longer than others but every one will have the chance. Being Godly means having an excellence about you in anything you do. Like if you are a dentist then be in excellence about it, and enjoy it. People are so drawn to an inviting smile. A happy person is a comfort and fun to be near. A happy Christian is a great force. That is a calling for us all.
And to Gemma up there.....this is the religious section and I think you are in the wrong place so why don't you leave, since you have a problem with it. This is a great question and it should be asked.

I understand that there are many reasons that Christians do not attend church. We can win many souls outside of the church doors. But don't forget that we are told in scripture that we should take the wine and the bread regularly in remembrance of Jesus' sacrifice.

It is most important to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, friend. Then, allow your spirit to be quieted and allow the Holy Spirit to speak with you on how you can share the Gospel (good news) with others.

If you want to try to influence people you should first learn how to spell and use proper grammar. This would mean getting an education. However, getting an education would also entail learning to think critically and analytically, which would probably weaken your belief in the supernatural.

Please do not phrase your question such that it presupposes that the answerer is Christian, or that Christianity is the only correct or acceptable way of believing. There are many non-Christians in this forum who are not interested in thinly veiled proselytizing.
If you wish to have a Christian-based discussion with others of like mind, kindly find an all-Christian forum.
Blessed be.
