Yahoo, Gmail and Hotmail services do not allow for files over 10MB to be sent through e-mail. I have a pdf file which is 12,1mb and 11,1mb when compressed. Is there any way I can divide the file so that I can send it through mail? Or is there any way I can furrther compress the file?
Thanks.

There are a couple of sites out there that allow you to upload big files and then send it. Some of the website that do offer this services for free are.
www.rapidshare.com
www.megaupload.com
www.bigupload.com

These are some of the main ones, there are more out there but i would recommend using any of these. if you can sending it over an Instant Messenger (MSN, Yahoo) would also be a good idea if u are sending it to only 1 person

Hope it helps

3 options
1) zip the file and hoose to break the file into smaller files (set the size to something like 8mbs) then it'll create a number of files that are connected to each other and you'll have to send each one individually with the instructs to download all the files to the same folder then open the main to get the file

2) delete any unneccesary pages within the file to get it smaller, and also take out any pictures that are not needed to try to get the file size down

3) use a file sharing program to get the large files to where they need to go...something like http://www.sendthisfile.com has free rgistration and allows you to simply upload the file then send a message to the people you want the file to go to with a link to the file, then they can download the whole thing.

Get a free personal website and upload the big file. Then email just the web address so your reader can go and get a copy of the file.
