I believe voting for your own answer is more acceptable... and fair game when a question goes off into the void of "in voting".

Cheat. You get 1 piont for starring a question, but I think you're wasting it if you are doing it for points. You should star the interesting one.

I don't think it's fair, because you can't "Thumbs Up" your own answers. Both, or neither, would make it fair.
