Well, it could in fact be several things, like what was said in other answers. A good rule of thumb to go by is go to the doc whenever you have had a high fever that won't break for more than a couple of days. I would definately go since you have pain in your stomach with a cough.

A high fever is an indication of an infection. And the reason you hurt above your stomach is because of your coughing- you're using muscles that you don't ordinarily use like that.

Your diaphragm runs along the bottom of your ribs above your digestive track, and helps your lungs to expand and contract. The coughing might just be your diaphragm is tired from all the work it is doing from coughing. However, it might be wise to see a doctor if you haven't yet to make sure you don't have bronchitis or something worse.

Well that would be a question for a doctor honey. There are so many problems that can be wrong and no one can tell you what is the reason w/o doing testing to make sure about every factor. Talk to your doctor and get better.

Because you haven't contacted your health care provider for advice, don't expect a doctor to be on-line monitoring yahooanswer and then give you medical advice in yahooanswers, seek help now it sounds serious, and can only get worst. Take care of yourself,we don't want to lose you!
