If it rains too much it can ruin crops or cause floods that destroy life and property.
If it doesn't rain enough, then there is a drought and crops are destroyed and possibly there is not even any water to drink.
Rain can cause mood swings which differ from person to person.
The changing pressure associated with rain can also cause joint pains.

They say they feel an ache when rain is about to come.
