That's God's way of telling you to get with the times, and use a computer for your typing needs.
It's either that, or he's telling you that it's a bad idea to try and lick the roller on the typewriter, as enjoyable as that may be.

so - in otherwords - if one is so messed up that they get their tongue caught in a typewriter - how can they believe everything within themselves that is leading them to god?
well, i guess that might undermine one's ability to believe in oneself so much as to make believing in anything rather hard --
but on the other hand it could also mean that faith is just all the more important since what else do you have at this point?!!

yeah I know, I got my hair caught in the rollers of a wringer kind washing machine! And just the other day I nearly broke my arm trying to crank the model t ford engine. Hate when that happens!
