drink plenty of water and drink cranberry juice. if you don't like the juice then they have cranberry pills. I take them daily because i am so prone to utis. if you take bathes, try not to use any kind of bubble bath or sit in the tub to long, wash you hair last so the soap from the shampoo doesn't sit in the water to long. wipe from front to back and again, fluids, fluids, fluids.

Pay attention to hygiene. Drink plenty of fluids. You may increase the acidity of your urine by drinking fruit juice. Cranberry and Grapefruit juice are helpful. Try to completely empty your bladder every time you use the restroom.
