lie on the floor, (with or without a mat, or just do like i do and put a pillow that is kinda flat under your lower back, which prevents you from over stretching your back muscles) and lift your legs about 6-12 inches from the floor. move your legs up and down in a scissor like motion. do about 5 sets of 10. as you get more used to it, lower your legs to about 3 inches off of the floor, and do the same motion. this also works your abs.

SQUATS!! spread your legs shoulder width apart, slightly bend your knees and squat down like your gonna sit in a chair.

Stand with one leg stretched out behind your and the front leg sightly bent then squat down like your kneeling down. do about 10 reps and switch legs. You can also hold a pair of weights.
