All the various individuals with their own particular prospectives, it is interesting to see the mind at work and the clash of prospective. Oddly you never see one who is not bias and can, in a sense, suspend themselves and perceive through the other prospectives, the weaknesses and the strengths.

Regardless, I like to see the different conditions upon the mind of man and many other observing and how everyone is so mechanical when a question is asked, like stimuli for a set pattern of response. Atheist mindset, Christian mindset, Muslim mindset, racist, victimizing mindsets and etc, all group mindsets where little individuality sets them apart from the whole and practically bound by the limitations of those groups. Retarded world we live in.

Well that's my clinical reasons although people may not like it, but what about you guys?

I really enjoy the different perspectives and often read answers that I really hadn't thought of. I also enjoy how, just when I think people are nuts, they'll come out with something that surprises me... for example: just when I think *all* christians are mean... some kind ones come out... It does my heart good sometimes.

Mainly I am, and have always been, drawn to the act of helping others. Initially I joined out of curiosity, and then continued because I saw so many lost people. In some sense, I wondered if this could be their only outlet. This world is crazy today, and there are alot of people caught up in the busyness of living and don't recognize the most important aspect of living is giving. I really feel for the lonely and the hurting! I would like to be able to be a small part in the process of leading the ones who have an open mind to the Glory of Gods uncomprehendable LOVE, and most capable abilities in healing and directing their lives to living life to the fullest, life overflowing, without any sorrow! If I can help one person receive the blessings "He" wants to bestow on them, I will be happy and will have lived!

Yeah me too. I only asked one question so far, because I am stingy with loosing my points. ????? Why do I care about the points so much? So weird. Any way, I like it when someone asks and they always get an honest answer, either nice or not. I like looking at other people's answers. Some are funny, off the wall, mean, compassionate, and some are just venting. It is just freakin cool, I love it!! I think it is like free counseling, whether you are getting or giving advise.
And SIDWELL up there is a reject and gets best answers from other rejects so it doesn't count. !!!!! THIIIIIIIIIII!

Started as a need to ask a serious question, and is now soon becoming an unhealthy addiction.
It is a great source for practical issues but as for the religious section people seem to be just affirming their own opinions.

You raise a valid point, but you're not beyond that limitation either.

I think Yahoo Answers was great, but it's starting to jump the proverbial shark now. The whole "star" thing might be the first sign of that. (I'm actually okay with the stars, but the removal of the ability thumb up or down questions is blasphemous, as far as I'm concerned.)

I love YA. Although there is a lot of worthless stuff, there are enough thoughtful, stimulating (to think) questions to continue to search them out. It is fun to listen to the intellectual, or at least the ones who are or try to be. It is fun to see the passions aroused by provoking questions.

Basically I believe it is a good, and mostly respectful community. that gets a lot of fun spending some time here and maybe goes away with something to mull over! :-)

Peace!

I like the challenge of being able to answer nicely and politely to show the christians that athiests (or deists as I actually am) are not brainwashing maniacs, and get picked for best answers.

It obviously works as I've had 5 best answers picked in just the last 36 hours!!

a+b - It looks like you stirred a nest of hornets along with your question lady. I have under no circumstances seen any such number of thumb down less than one Q interior the all-time i'm on Y/A. Why? Do all of them hate one yet another guts?

It helps me understand other people's religious beliefs and the type of questions to expect as far as my religion is concerned.
