It says "Without you, the emotions of today would be only the dead skin of the emotions of formerly ". What it means, i think it's like someone trying to take someone back into their lives

Without you, today's emotions will only be the dead skin of yesterday's emotions
I know it was quoted by Hipolito the writer in the film 'Amelie'

"Without you, the emotions of today are not but dead skin of the emotions of another time"
Without you, emotions are the same and mean nothing.
Just a stab.

Litteraly, I would translate it like that : "Without you, today's emotions would be the dead skins of yesterday's emotions" but according to wikipedia that links this phrase from the Amélie Poulain movie, it would be translated "Without you, today's emotions would be the scurf of yesterday's."
