It says "Without you, the emotions of today would be only the dead skin of the emotions of formerly ". What it means, i think it's like someone trying to take someone back into their lives

Litteraly, I would translate it like that : "Without you, today's emotions would be the dead skins of yesterday's emotions" but according to wikipedia that links this phrase from the Amélie Poulain movie, it would be translated "Without you, today's emotions would be the scurf of yesterday's."
