It would certainly make for an interesting mother down the road. Nothing like getting them into the habit young. Ugh. A kid doesn't baptise dolls unless she's been pretty thoroughly indoctrinated. Personally, I would find that appalling.

I have to wonder - is it wrong for someone to draw little pentacles on her dolls' foreheads? Because if it isn't, why would it be "cute" to baptise them?

Peace!
Why don't you just have them blessed by Priest? He will sprinkle holy water on your dolls and bless you also. Wouldn't that be great?
Baptising the doll will not change things for your or the doll.

So far I've performed 31 baptisms on dolls, with no guilt feelings whatsoever.

Jesus only once mentioned baptizing dolls, and Peter barely hinted at it, while Paul said absolutely nothing on the subject; so we don't have anything certain to go on -- my own thoughts are that, hey, go for it, why not.

I guess it depends on how old she is. If she's just a little girl it sounds like she knows what to be when she grows up. If this is an adult woman either she needs help or is practicing before doing the real thing.

I think girls that age think of dolls as their babies and want those babies to have a life equivalent to what goes on in their family. So that makes playing baptism as normal for that kid as playing hospital or dance school is for other girls who have those activities in their lives.

I don't see anything wrong with it, aside from the dolls getting wet and damaged. Is she totally submerging them, or just splashing them a little?

NO. It is a gesture of faith, child's play. She wants to give her dolls a new spirit, a new beginning, She wants her dolls to be happy...

All you need is Love.

Put the Love of God in your life and you will get everything you need to be happy! Look inside your self and find God waiting for you to ask for help...

We can have everything we need. all we need to do is ask God in side of us for it. Ask and ye shall receive... Seek and ye shall find...

It is an awaking of God with our minds in us.

We are a Body, a Mind and a Spirit...

The answer to every question is in the power of belief, and follow through it, NEVER GIVE UP!

As we believe it is done unto us...

AMEN, AMEN, AMEN...

Perhaps she is preparing for her God Given Path.
Perhaps she will be a MINISTER, and she will be Baptizing many, she is just practicing.
Or maybe she just LOVES THOSE dollies soo much, that she is just afraid that they too need to be baptized so they are saved and will be in Heaven with her.
How old is she?
Ofcourse you and I know that is not necessary, but to a child...just let her ACT OUT her Natural things.
Now if she was chanting some MAGIC SPELL on her dollies, well maybe then I would worry.

No. If she wants too have her dolls babtised she can if she wants it to. If someone wants to they have the wright to. Dolls can be comforting even if they aren't exactly alive.
