Worship of the Goddess....the Great Mother is far older than any other form of worship. Everything on this earth....including the plants are male and female....so it only stands to reason that the Divine is male and female as well.....both are necessary for creation. Most forms of paganism honor both the Goddess and the God. As we all know sometimes you need a Dad and sometimes only a Mother's love will do. We have Divine parents.....not an angry single dad looking to punish us.

God is neither male nor female. The term godess was made to refer to a more humanized idea that God is either male or female.

Thousands of years ago before men got so arrogant there was ONLY the Goddess. IF you look at archaeological sites, they have found thousands of goddess & fertility statuettes, and no male statues at all.

So it is not fantasy - it used to be that god was goddess.

Man decided that he was stronger than women, so the gods should be men.

Women have been told/lied/beaten into being submissive and do as they are told ever since.

The Flying Spaghetti Monster is male, the Invisible Pink Unicorn is female, so it equals out.

* I honor the Goddess and God in ritual. Look all over the earth and most of the time with few exceptions you have male and female for the sustaining of life, so why would diety be any different?*
