In India, for the common man,its a great privilage to join the armed forces due to unemployment.
His job is considered to be one of the toughest and belived to be corruption free.
He has a high moral and but no status(reason status comes from money, there is no money in Indian Defence spl other ranks)
What ever importance that a person gets is only lip service nothing else. Even the army compartments given by railway is withdrawn, this is the importance given by ....
Yes, every body has his/her personal life and future. After retirement even the family members wash their hands if they dont open their purse. Thousands of land cases are pending all over India, who cares? During their serving periods some body was utilising the land free of cost now they turn up as no. one enemy
Our govt does not have any proper plan to implement for the settlement of the retired persons.

a soldier to the common man is anyone willing to go out and fight to protect the lives of strangers as well as their families lives. He is treated the same as anyone else, except when a soldier is in uniform, then we either get praised or we get dismissed. Yes, us soldiers do have a personal life. We are always welcomed back to society when we decide to retire. it just takes us alittle while to settle in.

A soldier has more privileges than police personnel who also put their lives at risk and we all belong to the common man category in India as we do not have monarchs in our nation.

thats the only thing i want and to never pick up a weapon agen,in the army, everything is planed out for you,in civie street its the uncertainty that scares me.but in the end of the day i guess i should not complain as i wanted to join up since i was a kid

soldier is a common man , coz everybody loves his nation & work for nation .
the loss we getting is due to antinational activities
. that is in both condition a buissinessman ,
/student /employee at any workplace killed by a person is as same as the person to whom soldier is making a defence .
both person are punishable in order by law /police/ soldier.
infact person do a work hard to be a more stronger at his duty depend upon personality is equal .
if anybody having any achivement means it is a property of nation for wat the soldier is working over there coz we need to work together to build up great as well as strong nation at all manner.

are u asking for my opinion or my opinion of common man's opinion?
soldiers are trained to live near borders not for civilised society and i dont think they love the country or its people.
(make note of incidents in trains and areas surrounding defence areas in cities.)
